How do I wire a humidistat? I have a Bi Pass Whole House Bryant Humidifier and a Trane XR90 Furnace. I can’t
figure out how to wire the humidistat? Thanks in advance.
Normally, one wire connects from the voltage source to one wire on the humidistat. The wire then goes from the remaining wire on the humidistat to a wire on the humidifier water valve. The wire then goes from the remaining wire on the humidifier water valve back to the voltage source. NOTE: the voltage source could be the secondary of a step-down transformer (24V) or it could be from 24V terminals on the control board.
