What type of solar home heating is available?

Is there anyone offering heating of air by solar? All I read about is water heating..

Sure there is.
Although you are right in that there seems to be far more info on water. The reason is that using water (or some solution) is more efficient at transferring heat. But if you have reasons for wanting air heating the technology is available.

normally solar heating of air is done by capturing the heat in a mass – like a rock wall or a concrete floor (passive solar) and passing air over the rock wall when heat is needed. The problem is that air does not hold a lot of heat and does not transfer it rapidly, so building an elaborate box to heat the air requires insulated ducts leading to the roof and back. Since more heat than is needed is commonly available during the day, some kind of storage is still needed – a mass of largish rocks to blow the air through – to hold it till night.
Water in small insulated pipes stored in tanks captures heat much faster and efficiently.
Passive solar largely involves building the building with glass panels with concrete or stone walls and floors behind them and using shading to control the amount of heat buildup and circulating fans to move it around.
