What temp can be reached from solar pool heating?

I am looking for a comparison between the roof temp and the achievable pool water temp. Thanks for anyone’s help

Solar Pool Heating can raise the pool temp around 15 degrees warmer than the air temp. It is very important when you are heating the pool to use a pool cover at night to prevent heat loss through evaporation.

i own a pool company.and you might get 10-15 degrees difference in water temp however, when you heat pool water you will lose chlorine level due to evaporation.chlorine level will go down then algae will set in.algae likes warm water.so that will force you to raise chlorine level. i have seen this happen many many times

In a solar pool heater system the water flows in a loop from the pool to the roof collectors and back to the pool. A pump takes care of the water flowing in the loop. The water are getting warmer and warmer, in fact, once the temperature reaches the desired temperature (typically 85 degrees F) the collector is bypassed, to avoid unpleasant water temperature or even too hot water. Well designed and sized system can reach the 85 degrees during Spring and Autumn, and will raise the temperature of the pool water by 35 degrees.
