Do I have to shut off a leaking air conditioner?
This is probably a stupid question but my air conditioner wall unit has been leaking inside my condo. The water is collecting on the floor, not a lot but enough. I can’t get it fixed until Wednesday. Does it need to stay shut off the entire time or can I run it for a few hours to help with the heat?
Hi, It probably just needs cleaning or a slight tilt to the outside. Shouldn’t hurt anything to continue using for a few days. Might want to put pan on floor to catch water. Hope this helps. Good luck.
