Furnace and Heat pump question?
Im thinking of replacing my furnace and AC with a Trane XL14i Heat pump along with a Trane xv80 Gas furnace. I was quoted a price of $8065.00 for both units including installation. First of all is this a good price? Am i really going to save any money Installing a heat pump and furnace or would it be wise to just replace my existing with another furnace and AC. Also i live in Kansas City and we do have quite a few days below freezing in the winter.
if you are unsure of the cost call other contractors and ask for a quote. also heat pumps are only good for marginal heat.
