How economical is propane vs Natural gas?

I live in NJ, looking at a 2300 sq. ft home, but it uses propane heat instead of natural gas. How much more can I expect to pay for heat using propane heat vs. natural gas heat?

propane costs a bit more, but the machines use alot less of it over time. sort of like having 1 car that has fuel for $2 per gallon on 20mpg and another car with $3 per gallon with 300mpg. Pretty big difference(No car really gets that kinda gas mileage, just an example)
