can the asbestos in the water be dangerous?
how to know if it got into it?
You could take a water sample to a lab for testing. I believe asbestos is only an inhalation hazard, also drinking water from a boiler is unhealthy and shouldnt be done in the first place. If you are really concerned turn on hot faucet and run til water becomes cold to flush out system.
