ive been shutting the heat off in my house before leaving for work so its not on all day for no reason, someone told me that its better to leave it on because it takes a long time to heat the foundation……concrete, and i guess evrything else in and around your house? whats the deal
You should turn the thrermostat down when you leave for work, not turn it off
you’ll use more energy heating the house than maintaining a lower temp and warming the house
try buying a programmable thermostat, it’s saved me 5-8% on energy usage
