Electrical supply adjacent to air duct?
I am in the process of renovating my second floor bathroom. I was told by the local electrical Inspector that I need to run a dedicated 20A line to the bath for the outlets. The only accessible place I can find to run a line from the breaker box in the basement to the second floor is adjacent to a heating duct.
Is it legal to run a line adjacent to a hot air duct?
Shouldn’t be a problem as long as you use the proper type of conduit required by code in your area.
