is it normal for cool air to come out of your vents in a gas/forced air heating system?
i turn the heat on and it seems to warm the house up, but when the air first starts coming out, it’s pretty cold. is that normal? should i call my landlord to fix that?
no, it is normal for the air to be cold that has been sitting in the ducts. it will not heat up untill the hot air from the furnace makes its way all the way to the vent. and the air wont be that warm untill the ducts warm up too.
