TOLLAND — After months of studies and discussions about the failing heating, ventilation, and cooling system in the Hicks Memorial Municipal Center, the Town Council has voted to send a $3.6 million geothermal replacement project to referendum Feb. 15.

geothermal heating is use of heat that is naturally present underground. you can normally find different temperatures at different depths which enables you to draw free energy.

we put one in my uncles house and it works great the bill is 140 for electric which includes heat or AC in a 3500 sq ft house its priceless

Informative video. Do some people just blow air over a coil of the water line or is there always a heat pump involved? Is the heat pump used to both heat and cool?
