Gas Furnace to Heat Pump Converstion Cost?
I am currently have a 1090 sq.ft home and it has an A.C. unit and Forced Air Gas Heating. Of course, its central heat with all the duct work in it. I am wanting to convert it to a Heat Pump ( cheaper down the road). I have no idea how much the initial expense is going to be or how the procedure works. If you can give me a detailed description, I would appreciate it.

a heat pump is nothing more than a a/c in reverse…. no where near as efficient as a gas heater…. nor is it any cheaper???
i would spend the money on energy efficient windows and adding insulation where needed and possible…
