Do you have a ductless mini-split AC system?

I am planning on building a new home soon and I would really like to go with a radiant floor heating system. Now I am considering my air conditioning options. I have never experienced one of these AC systems. Would I be satisfied with one? I live in the southeast US where air conditioning is a vital consideration. I don’t want to just “settle” for one to go with the radiant floor system, I want a system that will do a good job. If you have one or know someone that does, please share your thoughts about the positives and negatives. Thanks!
The house will be a 1700 sq ft dome. 29′ diameter, basement, main floor and loft with two extended areas.

I own a mitsubishi split system, it is in a vacation house I have in Mexico. The mitsubishi system has worked well now for around 4 years. It was recommended to me by my neighbor there, who is a HVAC heating and air contractor. He even helped me install it, it was pretty easy.
