Does anyone use radiant heating to heat your house?what are the pros and cons.?

I am refering to the heated tubing running in the flooring. Can this be the primary source of heat? Is it a comfortable heat? How is the water heated in your system?

I have radiant heat in my house and I absolutely love it. First thing is that it is very energy efficient. This is a great plus with the rising cost of heating these days. It is also a more even heat. My water is natural gas heated in a boiler on top of the furnace. The only downside that I can think of about radiant heat is that it can be a bit more costly to install but I believe that this will end up paying for itself in the money you save.

ya cheap to operate, takes a while to adjust to the heat, type,

The big benefit is that you don’t get anywhere near the amount of convection losses due to air changes as the air is relatively static being heated from all over the floor rather than from one point in the room and is consequently more efficient.
