Does anyone have a radiant heating panel at home?
If so, I would like to ask you a few questions.
Thanks
We used to have radiant heat in our ceilings. And the heat was really comfortable and cheap to operate. We had to have it all removed, because the living room ceiling came down in a wind storm, so we went to a heat pump. I have seen the panels, not sure how they would be, but radiant heat from the ceiling was nice.

Keep in mind that radiant heating is a distribution system. The initial source of the heat is an entirely different matter. There are two kinds of radiant heating, water and electric. Radiant heating can be installed as new construction or as a retrofit in many applications. Conventional methods of installation have changed substantially in the last 40 years.
Because radiant heating operates with a lower temperature it works particularly well with geothermal heat pump. Because it also often works with a large thermal mass it may work well with solar heating. But it can be made to work with more conventional electric, oil, gas, or wood fired heaters.
