Gas prices on the rise; how high will they go?
Prices are projected to fall a bit after the first of the year, and stay down until the spring. (Amy Beth Bennett, Just in time for high holiday travel season, prices are heading north in South and Central Florida and other states.
Do you believe that people who buy Citgo gas are subversives?

When the disgusting fat body, Hugo Ducky Chavez was in the US, he claimed that he will offer discounted heating oil for the poor of the US.
As I was leaving home this morning, I noticed the local Citgo station with gas at $2.36 per gallon, two blocks east of Citgo is a Phillips 66, with gas at $2.26 per gallon. So, is what we have here the Robin Hood concept, or is Hugo and Citgo simply overcharging middle America so he can discount in the hood? By the way, who still uses oil to heat their homes? This must be a Venezuelan practice, where they heat their little grass shacks with oil!

A few days ago, I read where CITGO is owned by “PDV America, Inc., an indirect, wholly owned subsidiary of PetrĂ³leos de Venezuela, S.A., the national oil company of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela” (as quoted from the link).

Not just wow…but “WOW!”.
Will I buy from CITGO in the future?

It is ironic that blow-hard Chavez can come to America and spew his verbal filth at us, but NO one in Venezuela could get away with any kind of free speech.

Living in Oklahoma, back in the 1980’s and ’90’s, I witnessed the loss of CITGO jobs, as the company closed up and moved to Houston.
But I never thought that it was owned by a foreign government.

Maybe President Bush will grow some balls and do what any evil third-world dictator would do: nationalize the oil companies, like CITGO.
But I’m dreaming…Bush lacks leadership in a lot of areas and this is one of them

Anyway – back to the theme here: BAN CITGO – DON’T BUY THEIR PRODUCT.
