British Gas Offering an Additional £100 Off Gas Boiler Installation
The New Year may have brought new beginnings, but the UK is still fighting to escape the grip of a record winter freeze. December 2010 was the coldest on record since 1890, sending the cost of household heating soaring. The charity National Energy Action (NEA) estimates that for every degree below the seasonal norm, we spend an extra 29p to heat our homes.
What is the best boiler to buy?
I want a combi condensing boiler, but which is the best one to buy?? I want one that will be effecient, but cheap to repair should something go wrong with it. I’ve been told to get ‘Worcester-Bosch’ many times, but they are expensive to repair. So, what would you suggest? I need one that has a large KW output for hot water.
Two suggestions especially good if you want a small one:
Viesmann – excellent build quality
Boulter-Boudras – again excellent build
Both largely unknown except in the trade. Make sure you have all the power requirements – the Viesmann needs an extra wire to control the pump – way too inteligent by far. Quietest boiler I’ve ever owned.
